Welcome to January
Firstly we would all like to wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year. Christmas seems a distant memory now, after so much build up and preparation which for us started in October, it is over so quickly. Now we are looking forward to the year ahead. Hopefully with lots of celebrations, weddings, special anniversaries and landmark birthdays to look forward to.
We will also have the King’s Coronation in May, which should be a day to remember. The next big event in our calendar is Valentine’s Day. This week I need to start planning our collection of bouquets and the window display. Then we have just over a month and it is Mothering Sunday which is the busiest time of the year. These peaks are really important to us they are very nerve racking, but I do enjoy seeing the shop filled with wonderful bouquets and arrangements ready to be delivered. It takes a lot of coordinating, but I am very lucky to have an experienced team who work really hard to keep everything running smoothly.
After all the reds and greens of Christmas it is quite refreshing to have lots of multi coloured spring flowers in the shop, it always seems so dark in January, we are so lucky to be working with these beautiful flowers that certainly brighten us up. I’m looking forward to spreading the joy of our flowers to you all in 2023.
